Tomaz

Tomaz’ obsession for music drove him towards a job at the BCM Record store, where he worked many years as a guide for music-crazed lovers through the musical jungle.

In the late nineties Tomaz took it to a new level when he gave a first shot at production with Kobbe. That was the birth of several 12"s on labels like Re-Load and Future Frontier. Next in the line of production were the successful collaborations with the Filterheadz ("More House", the Latin techno hit "Los Hijos del Sol" and the major worldwide clubhit "Sunshine" on Carl Cox' Intec label).

This was the moment when Tomaz moved from the local radio stations to the Belgian national radio Studio Brussel where he became the techno programmer for the weekly show Switch. The show has just started its sixth season and continues to bring the best electronic music to an international audience. Even though Tomaz techno hour is not recorded live anymore and played from 2h. till 3h. at night, he still has a lot of followers and features his show also through Podcasts on his Myspace. Check them out!

The follow up single to "Sunshine", The Saturn Moons EP once again proved the musical diversity of Tomaz. After the Latin flavoured releases, "Titan" is a dreamy, string-fuelled anthem, that like its predecessor, is played by all the big names, whether they are techno, house or trance dj's.

Next to being a resident at parties such as Intenze, Session and MadeinBrussels (amongst others), we still find Tomaz on Switch on a weekly basis as well as on numerous parties all over the country.
