Akî’s dj-sets evolve through waves of various electronic music styles such as dub, trip-hop, electro-pop and electronica but neatly tied together with solid minimal-techno and house of German origin. Polyglot and inquisitive he definitely likes to gum the borderlines...

In 2000, he begins his studies of Art & Communication in Liège. One year later he throws his first party in Liège with Jonas Bering and Tobias Thomas known from the Kompakt label. In 2002, he finishes his studies and develops with some friends the Alter_Native Attack multi-artistic performing group in Liège. Shortly thereafter he leaves to Quebec for two months in order to get more knowledge about electronic music.

By joining the Toys For Boys crew in 2005, he meets artists like Bern, Franco Cangelli, Pheek, Tom Dazing and Karri O. and promotes them on the label. Meanwhile he launches a free monthly party called Déclic at the Soundstation bar in Liège and starts a residency at the P3P parties in Brussels. Nowadays he’s busy on a new forward thinking label called Aesthetik records, together with his business partner Franco Cangelli.

Since 2000, he has been playing in London, Paris, Montreal or Berlin and in quite a few venues around Belgium such as Fuse, Recyclart, P3P, Beursschouwburg, Le Belgica, Le Soixante and Le Gazon in Brussels ; Vooruit, Culture Club, Decadance and Tijuana in Gent ; Silo and Rumba in Leuven ; Soundstation and Legendz in Liège.
