Unit 4

Unit 7

Unit 9

General Info

Concept

After an intense observation of planet Earth with our orbiting satellites, audio sensors and deep space probes, we have planned another launch from the planet K magnetosphere. And also this time we will land with three spacecrafts. Each ship will have its own intergalactic techno sound, and will carry the necessary instruments, a hi-tech sound system, laser and the best techno artists of the planet. We will bring sophisticated technology designed to bring you in a musical trance which will show black holes that no human has ever discovered.

Space commander in charge of leading the musical warping of the techno-minds in Unit 4 is no one less than Robert Hood. He’s been at the forefront of all techno universes since the very beginning as part of the Underground Resistance crew and through his collaborations with Jeff Mills. This year he is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his own M-Plant label and Kozzmozz will be one of the selective venues around the world in which he would like to celebrate this special occasion.

The ship will also be in the capable hands of Surgeon who is no stranger to the Kozzmozz fleet. He started his career on Downwards before releasing three albums on Tresor. He now causes serious energy waves with his own Counterbalance and Dynamic Tension label. He compiled and mixed n° 53 in the famous Fabric CD series and his collaboration with Blawan is one of the brightest stars at the techno firmament at the moment.

As one of the leading forces behind Droid Behavior from Los Angeles, we know our spacecraft will also be shaking with Truncate who is now one of the favorites of dj’s of Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, … and maybe soon also one of yours. Truncate is an alias of Audio Injection which focuses on the deeper and rawer side of techno. His tracks are always highly ranked in all the techno charts and we’re sure you have rocked your socks off on one of his productions on a previous K trip.

Our very own space-cadets Spacid and Kr!z, label-owner of the internationally acclaimed Token Records, will maneuver our first ship into the perfect take-off and landing positions as usual.

Our second ship will be taken to astronomical heights by no less than three international voyagers.  First up is Inigo Kennedy, known from the legendary Asymetric label. His more recent home-ground is our very own Token Records, which he helped to become one of the most respected European techno outposts while gaining himself new followers with tough but polished productions. Kennedy will release his first full-length album in almost four years, Vaudeville, on Token in June.

Next up, will be the newly created live-act of Clouds who built an intergalactic reputation with his releases on Turbo and more recently Fifth Wall and Soma Records. New galaxies of new techno sounds will be explored and conquered, join the ride.

Last but not least in unit 7 is Rødhåd who will be transported from his home-base Berlin where he developed his Dystopian label into a worldwide phenomena. And he also got intercepted by Token Records for his latest output. He always knows how to find the perfect balance of timeless techno that takes the dance-floor higher and higher.

Unit 9 will again be hosted by the extra terrestrials from Peep with a voyage going from house to techno and back. The space-suits in this ship will be filled by the ultra cool No Shit Like Deep team from Ghent, the Brussels based Umlaut formation known from Fuse and other selective venues as well as the constantly transforming Svermirski from Coincidence Records.

So dear mortals, once again we will wreak havoc on your planet... Does this sound like titanium to your ears? Hook up to our central K computer. Type in the code, follow the imaginary straight line around which an object is rotating and we will beam you up to our magnetosphere.
